Artist Statement

God, the creator, is the source of all life.  His eternal gifts of life are presented in the Bible as follows:

• The breath of life: And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7, NKJV).
• The bread of life: And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35, NKJV). Accepting Jesus as Savior will satisfy your spiritual hunger and thirst.
• The tree of life: Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and my enter through the gates into the city. (Revelations 22:14, NKJV).
• Lamb’s book of life: “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” (Revelations 3:5, NKJV). A book with the names of those who lived for Christ who will experience eternal life with Him.
• Rivers of living water: “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38, NKJV). There is a fulness in Christ of grace and happiness like running water.

He who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor. (Proverbs 21:21, NKJV).
