Artist Statement

We are all on a journey.  Our path will lead us to open doors of opportunity and closed doors of disappointment. At times, our path may lead downward to despair while challenging others to ascend from darkness with the hope of a new tomorrow.  Because we cannot save ourselves, I invite you to embrace the power and wisdom of the Holy trinity represented in this painting by the always present eye of the Almighty God our Creator, Jesus Christ our sacrifice on the cross as Savior and the Holy Spirit like a gentle dove searching out those to be their guide and counsel.

• Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. (Psalm 25:4-5, NKJV).
